As we start 2012 I thought it would be good to share some plans we have in place....
Our 2012 training programme has now started.
For SWIIS approved foster carers I have attached this years programme, it is a shorter programme as we have now started our online training. Face to face training will continue as we feel it is important for foster carers to meet with each other and share their experiences and also that there are just some courses that can not be delivered online! Foster Carers should complete their training nomination forms with their Supervising Social Workers as soon as possible.
Our next preparation training starts 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th March 2012. For anyone interested in joining SWIIS, please phone and discuss your application with one of our Social Workers on 0121 452 7120.
