As a supervising social worker you will contribute to the recruitment, training and assessment of new carers, and take a lead in placement planning, matching and review processes, for a maximum of 12 carers based in our Sheffield office.

You will receive full support and supervision but must also be confident and capable of working autonomously and have excellent communication, assessment and decision making skills.

Experience of working with looked after children and sound knowledge of
placement issues, alongside promoting placement stability and improve
outcomes for looked-after children and the ability to develop and sustain
excellent working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and
customers are essential requirements for the role.
